About Me (Professionally): My name is Rod Borgert and I have a Bachelors Degree fin physiotherapy from the University of Qld (St Lucia). I also have a Graduate Diploma in Management and an MBA from the University of Central Qld (Rockhampton). I am a financial member of the Australian physiotherapy Association. My special interest is in the area of musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. I have worked in north America as a physiotherapist and enjoyed this invaluable experience immensely. The highlight being able to experience a different health system first hand and also being able to work alongside health staff from all over the world.
The best part of my job is being able to assist the weekend sporting warrior to return to what he or she loves doing and to continue to enjoy this activity. Just as importantly I enjoy helping people with work related injuries continue to remain working. It has been proven in studies that our work is closely tied to our mental health and our general health and well being.
